Take a Look at The Mersey This Weekend
The weather looks as though it going too be to cold for me to fish this weekend, so I think I'll start planning next years fishing. I'm going to take a look at the Mersey at Woolston weir, have a look at the pegs that I've been told are there and try to workout the methods I'll use come next year.

That looks a great spot, Do you need a permit to fish along the mersey yhese days or is it still free,

Hi Paddy This part of the Mersey is free. Some of the photos of the Pike caught here would blow your mind. When you consider 30 years ago this was an open sewer, the water was all colours of the rainbow because of the polution.
